About me…

I have been working with willow and basketmaking for many years now – it all began with a three week course at Vestbirk Højskole in ’89 with Bent Winkler, the Grand Old Man of willow baskets in Denmark. Since then, willow has never really left me.

Since ’96, I have made my living from working with basketry and willow-work – basketry courses, exhibitions, larger projects, baskets made to order and almost anything that can be made with willow.

My formal education is from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen – I started out as textile designer, specialized in weaving. From there, moving on to basketry seemed just natural….
I am a member of the Danish Arts and Crafts Association.
